FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO YOU OFFER TRIAL SESSIONS?
Yes, we offer a trial session. After selecting the year group and club that works for you, there will be a trial button that you can select. After your trial is over you will receive an email and if you wish to continue the sessions, there will be prompts on how to do so.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
The most appropriate attire for all Nets and Goals sports is: Trainers, tracksuits / leggings / shorts and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. We encourage players to bring waterproof jackets with them and a cap. Gloves are also welcome in cold weather – grippy gloves are preferred for catching and throwing. Players should remove earrings if possible, have hair tied back and nails cut short.
Players can now purchase a nets and goals t-shirt or hoodie for training. Please see the shop further information.
MY CHILD HAS NEVER PLAYED BEFORE, CAN THEY STILL JOIN?
Absolutely, everyone has to start somewhere! We welcome all levels of players and our sessions teach something to everyone. We split our groups into ability, so players are able to access playing netball at a suitable level.
CAN I WATCH THE SESSIONS?
Yes. There is space outdoors to watch the session, however there is limited seating. If the weather is very wet, we will move our session indoors. Unfortunately our indoor room does not have enough space for parents to be inside the sports hall also.
DO YOU RUN ALL YEAR ROUND?
Yes, we are dedicated to providing Netball for girls throughout the year. Our sessions will run at similar dates to school term dates.
DO YOU RUN CAMPS?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer camps. We only offer weekly sessions that can be joined at any point in the year.
